This saltbox barn was created as a workshop, garage, animal pen, and living space. The custom hinged double doors allow cars and farm equipment easy access. The rolling door at the animal stalls was finished with a copper roof to keep the weather out and a small loft to store hay and feed. The building was insulated with a combination of fiberglass in the walls and closed cell foam in the ceilings. 5/4” vertical pine walls finished off the space for a rustic feel. The second story accessed with open stairs was created for storage and living space. Gas lanterns at the service entrance complete the feel.
