This dated back shore home had great views of the ocean and a large back yard, but the single season cottage had been patched together over the years resulting in potential fire hazards, poor efficiency, and cramped spaces. The team opened up the interior to catch views from front to back of the house, added a generous mudroom with storage, new hardwood floors, three bathrooms, and a master suite with cathedral ceilings. All mechanicals and electrical were updated and foam insulation and energy star windows were installed from basement to attic. An outdoor shower and new terrace completed the family’s ideal vacation home.
