This gut renovation and addition of a 1950’s cape transformed the home into an energy efficient 1,800 SF empty nesters’ retreat. The renovation included foundation work, gutters, and grading so the existing wet basement problems were solved. HVAC was added as well as closed cell foam insulation. Energy efficient windows, foam insulated roof and make up air keep the home tight but with excellent circulation.
